Vashu Bhagnani to produce Faltu

Karan Johar gave his ‘Faltu’ flick title to producer Vashu Bhagnani. Vashu Bhagnani is relaunching his son Jackky Bhagnani, where Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing a main role in the film.




Vashu's upcoming project with his son is directed by choreographer-turned-director Remo. Vashu Bhagnani said, "I got the title from Karan Johar. Initially, I was hesitating to call him. But just with one call, he immediately agreed without asking any questions. In fact, the next day itself he finished the paper work, and handed over the title."

Deepika will not celebrate Diwali with Ranbir

Deepika Padukone who has reached the success board this year with Love Aaj Kal and Ranbir Kapoor has become the latest sensation with his brilliant performance in Wake Up Sid. So, everyone is expecting that the couple will celebrate Diwali together.




But Deepika has decided not to celebrate Diwali with Ranbir and the glam girl wants to celebrate this festival with her family like she always does. Deepika has couple of films in hand. Her forthcoming film Karthik Calling Karthik that is releasing by the end of this year.

The film casts Farhan Akhtar in the lead role and Pradeeep Sarkar has directed the flick. There is Housefull with co-star Akshay Kumar. Deepika Padukone is also casted opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh for Yash Raj Films.

Ajay Devgan's Diwali Dhamakaaa

Ajay Devgan is coming up with a comedy film titled All The Best. The film promises to be an entertainer for every kind of audience. The movie is directed by Rohit Shetty.




The film has actors Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Fardeen Khan, and the hottest babes Bipasha Basu and Mugdha Godse. The film is filled with silliness and mistaken identities all around.

We have already seen Sanjay Dutt in comedy role, the Munna Bhai character that was very much loved by the auidences. But this time Sanjay has come up with a new flavor.

Fardeen has also tonned his comic skills in the movie. Bipasha is also attempting to blow comedy after No-entry. However Mugdha once again ready to impress with her natural screen presence. The film is ready to release on October 16. So get ready for a laughter blast at this Diwali.

Vishal Bharadwaj unhappy with the decision of CBFC

Vishal Bharadwaj, the director for the film Kaminey is upset and disappointed with the decision of the Censor Board for Film Certification (CBFC), to give a "A" certificate to his film which is releasing next week.




Vishal said, "It was injustice to us. There is no abusive language used in the film and the violence is of 'comic book kind'. Kaminey is the strongest word used in the entire story. The CBFC has ambiguous categories of rating systems."

The provision of U/A certificate to 'Ghajini' also came up for discussion during our meeting and the Board said it regrets its decision on it, he said.

The filmmaker said he has strived to make an entertaining film by adhering to his sensibilities and considers film making as a work of art rather than a business proposition. With the film he had tried a new structure of story telling. The film casts Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in lead ro;es and the film is all set for it's release on August 14.

Buzz begun in film industry circles about rift between Sajid and Salman that lead to this. But now it is confirmed that all bad talks were just rumours, as Sajid is all set to begin his next starring Salman in the lead.

Sajid's Salman starrer will be directed by David Dhawan and will be a comedy. The shooting for the same will begin by the end of 2009 and the film will be ready for release in the end 2010.

Sajid's association with Salman began way back in 1996 with Jeet followed by super hit Judwa (1997) continuing with blockbusters such as Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega (2000) and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004).
