Khatta Meetha's screenplay heads up to Oscar Library!

A great news for the team of the movie Khatta Meetha, its time to celebrate because the movie's screenplay is heading up to Oscar Library. Priyadarshan (the director) is really excited on this achievement! Though, Khatta Meetha is an average hit but the director has enough reasons to celebrate.

He has got an official e-mail from The Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences in LA. They asked him for a copy of the screenplay of his movie Khatta Meetha. It will be kept by them for permanent Core Collection.They will use the script for the research purpose. Filmmakers, students, actors and writers will use it as a reference.

Priyadarshan feels honoured that his script has been chosen by The Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences in LA. He is glad to know that his script is going to be used for research purposes by students of cinema. He takes it as a recognition of the hard work involved in writing the script.

There is a buzz that the Title of Priyan's next movie is 'The Bullet Train' but he denies. He further adds that, he is going to work on his next project but the Title has not been decided yet, the shooting will begin from first week of September in London.

'Raju Hirani' chosen as a top ranking director by Filmfare

Raju Hirani has just returned from New York after having a heavy duty scripting session. The Director is in a gregarious mood, Guess why? Well! the good news is that Raju Hirani has been chosen as a Top Ranking Director by Filmfare.Now everyone is curious to know what is going to be Raju's next project? Specially after 3-Idiots which was a block buster in Bollywood's history.


Some of the speculations are that, Raju is planning a movie called 'Hey Bhagwan' on 300 Gods.But, he clears off all the speculations by saying that we have thirty three crore gods, then why would he choose 300 of those? Well point to be noted! At the same time he gives a hint about his upcoming flick,he adds that his forthcoming project is going to be based on the Religion.

Abhijat Joshi is going to write the script and he himself is busy in writing Munnabhai. Saif leaves Bebo for his Kids

Recently, Saif became a responsible daddy. Chhote Nawab spent time with his kids and ex wife Amrita. As per the sources, Saif was shooting with his girlfriend Kareena Kapoor in Morroco for his home production Agent Vinod. Fortunately, the scheduled wrapped up before the said time. Shockingly, Reliance Big Pictures has bought the rights of Shah Rukh Khan starrer “Don2 for a huge amount of 125 crores. The rights are given by Excel Entertainment. This is not all, Eros International has bought other film of Shah Rukh's Ra.one' for 175 crores. 'Ra.one' is his home production. It is Shah Rukh Khan's popularity and huge fan following which is compelling the distributors to pay such a huge amount!

Salman will appear as "the father of two kids"

Sherlyn Chopra's acting career is mainly confined to B-Grade movies, now she has grabbed News Headlines this week. 'Twitter ' social networking website has banned her for uploading naked and nude pictures on their website.

On 23 June 2010, Twitter has deleted all her nude pictures that were posted by the actress on her account and she is not allowed any kind of further posting on Twitter. Sherlyn posted her nude picture in response to the comments of her followers.She has around 20,000 followers , she feels “handicapped” by the ban. Her team is trying to sort out the matter as soon as possible. They are trying to get in touch with Twitter authorities. Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has made mark in the Bollywood and made friends also.she might have gone through bad patch after the break up with Ranbir Kapoor, but she has picked herself well.



She is having a good friendship with Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She started her career with SRK camp and quickly made foray in to other domains of Bollywood. In fact, she is the one who has never confined to any particular camp.

IPL season 3 has started with new and exciting surprises Knight Riders taking over Deccan Chargers. In the inauguration ceremony there are so many famous and prominent personalities are there to attend the ceremony and to watch first IPL match. One them Deepika Padukone was promoting Vijay Mallya team, she was chatting with him and his son Siddarth Mallya and was very much comfortable with their company.




Both were engrossed in talking that they did not bother about match, Deepika and Siddarth both enjoyed there company. We wonder if Deepika is serious about Siddarth??

Cold War between Kareena and Katrina

Whether they confess or not but the truth is that there is some rivalry between Kareena and Katrina. Though both the actresses keep on appreciating each other in public but there are certain occasions when they start showing their true colours towards each other. And one such occasion was an Award ceremony. On the eve of this function Kareena was asked to give an award to Katrina but the former clearly denied saying Katrina had done the same with her!



Otherwise, Kareena vis Bebo keep on praising Katrina and has often said that Katrina has been very sweet to her. On the other hand Katrina also praises Kareena and in her view, none of Kareena's movie would have been complete without Kareena.

Whenever Kareena is asked about her competetion with other Bollywood actresses she says that she has no competetion with any of them. Regarding Katrina, she says that no competetion is possible between them because both of them belong to different genres of Bollywood movies.

One of the "3 Idiots" loves the number 3 !

All the last few releases of R.Madhavan have been a hit and all of them contained something common in them,of course,except for the actor himself.Yes, the other common fact about the movies was the number three that was there in the title of the movies in some way or the other.Madhvan believes that number 3 is lucky for him.



Seems like that the number 3 goes well with bollywood actor R.Madhavan these days and vice-versa ! By analysing all the last few movies of Madhavan, one can easily understand the connection between this bollywood actor and the number three. In fact all his recent movies with the same digit have been a hit at the box office be it the movie "13 B" or "3 Idiots".

Here it is worth mentioning that '3 Idiots' did a wonderful business and became Hindi cinema's highest grosser till date with collections crossing Rs.315 crore worldwide. Similarly '13 B' that released last year grossed somewhere around Rs.22.5 crore.

Now the interesting fact is that the upcoming ventures of this tall, dark and handsome guy again include the number three.



One of his next movie is "Teen Patti" which will be releasing on 26th of Feb,2010.The movie has been directed by Leena Yadav and has also given a chance to some newcomers like Siddharth Kher, Dhruv Ganesh, Vaibhav Talwar and Shraddha Kapoor.

Pehchaan Kaun" on Mumbai Roads?

No matter how hard the celebrities try to hide themselves in the public but "yeh public hai,yeh sab janti hai"(i.e. its public and it knows everything! :) and that's why actor Neil Nitin Mukesh could not escape from the eyes of the public when he was riding his bike in style on the roads of Mumbai. In fact, Neil is playing the role of a biker in his upcoming movie alongwith the actors Kay Kay Menon and Piyush Mishra.The movie is under the production of Yashraj Films.



The production team made their best efforts to keep this shooting of a movie as a secret and for four consecutive nights last week(between 7th to 15th Jan), they shot in various parts of Mumbai including King’s Circle, Ballard Pier and the Asiatic Library.But while the team was shooting at the Marine Lines along with the actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, a good number of people i.e the fans of Neil surrounded him all of a sudden. As when the security tried to pull off this crowd, the situation got even worse. Later, somehow the actor was sweeped away from the site.

Neil said that this was his first time when he experienced a ride on bike on the Mumbai roads and even the surrounding of crowd was nearly shocking for him because all this happened in the mid of night. He also said that it was the first time for him that he was shooting on the roads of Mumbai. This experience of facing the crowd is entirely new for the actor. But this is also a surprising fact that an actor, who has done only a couple of movies, is recognized so well in the public!!
