Although most actors feel shy from playing such roles Shahrukh had qualms about playing a father on screen. Most stars are apprehensive of loosing their charm once they play an aged character on screen but our Shahrukh is not that kind of a star.

Shahrukh who plays Rizwan Khan in My Name Is Khan will be the father of a teenager in the movie. The superstar said these things should not bother an actor. SRK argues that at 30 if he could play a college student Kuch Kuch Hota Hai at 43 he can definitely play a father with his own son Aryan being 11 years old.

Imran's mood decides his film projects

His uncle Aamir Khan might be known for the in-depth research he does before taking up a project but actor Imran Khan says that he goes by his mood while choosing roles.

The 25-year-old actor, who acquired a heartthrob status with his debut hit 'Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Naa', says, "Roles depend on my mood, the idea is not to get bored. Doing different roles helps in challenging the actor within me."

Imran Khan said that after doing two action flicks 'Kidnap' and 'Luck', he would prefer to do a light comedy film. The actor will be next seen in 'Luck' with debutante Shruti Haasan, directed by Soham Shah of 'Kaal' fame. "

Imran Khan said he had to work hard to get the look for the action film. There was also seven day scuba diving crash course as the movie involves a detailed underwater action sequence, the actor said.

Imran said that he was disappointed after his second film 'Kidnap' failed at the box office. Talking about his co-star Shruti Haasan, who is making a debut with the film, Imran said, "We have known each other since we were children and it was totally comfortable working with her."

Apart from acting, Imran also has a penchant for writing. "Writing gives me a space and I also like attending live events as they help me achieve a stronger connect with the people," said Imran Khan who regularly writes column for a daily.

Imran Khan burnt his eye-lashes

From going underwater with sharks to jumping from a helicopter on to a burning train, Imran Khan has done it all in his forthcoming film Luck. But he had his share of injuries for showing such daredevilry in the action flick.

Imran Khan always insists on doing his own stunts and refuses to use body doubles and this has lead to few injuries for the cute actor.

Imran Khan says, “Shooting an action film can lead to plenty of injuries. A muscle pull, certain bruises are quite usual. In Luck, I sustained an injury while shooting the train scene. When the train was on fire, the flames went up a little too high and my eyelashes and the skin under my eyes got burnt.”

Imran Khan covered his bruised skin with make-up for around two weeks but didn’t use fake eye-lashes ‘coz “people don’t tend to notice them often”.

But his bushy eyebrows remain intact and survived the accident. Lucky Imran.
